Government Polytechnic, Puranpur(Pilibhit) is new polytechnic in Uttar Pradesh specially in Pilibhit district proving three year diploma in various branches. The Polytechnic was established in 2016 and started its classes at government Polytechnic Pilibhit for about one session with only one stream of Electrical Engineering.

The Polytechnic shifted to its newly constructed building at Village Tanda Gulab Rai on Puranpur Madhotanda road during session 2017-18 with an addtitional branch of civil Engineering . Another branch of Mechanical Engineering also added during session 2018-19. These three stream are affiliated to Board of Technical education and approved by AICTE New Delhi.
